  • What You Need Is

    Looks like it's a back fire from the generator engine to the intake suction of the air filter asembly. Mostly likely the intake valve closing didn't manage to seal off the pre-ignition/ combustion of the engine internally.

    Since you are generating LARGE AMOUNT of flammable hydrogen gas from your so call "hydrogen gas generator DIY box" to fuel up your generator engine.

    You might want to consider a "MINI ONE WAY VALVE or CHECK VALVE" to prevent back flash fire which coming back from the engine internally when it combusted.
