I used to live in Saudi for 20yrs. There were hundreds of these on the roads before during and in between both gulf wars. They were for ever breaking down. Electrics are 24v ??? what muppet came up with that, like your headlight goes out in the middle of the jungle or desert. Suppose the USAF would fly in a replacement.

Did you see the road/desert/cross country test on TopGear? Hummer v Range Rover V Shogun v Discovery v Landcruiser. Discovery was first, guess what was last. American engineering is decades behind Europe. Most things are re-packed goods from the 1930's.

I haven'T seen a single vid of a hummer not being broken or stuck or in a embarrassing situation? I used to think the were cool but now i don't think i would buy one (good since i can't afford one anyway, lol)
