It really doesn't harm you to slide across pavement like that. The leather suits are made in such a way as to protect the asphalt from coming in contact with the skin. It may get a bit hot in the suit, but it doesn't really cause serious injury.

is amazing. To slide like that on asphalt and still have flesh on your bones is a testament to the equipment manufacturers! Outstanding.

I wonder how much it hurts to slide a few meters on asfault...
