Some things are worth fighting for. Do you remember 9/11? Our military doesn't try to kill non-combatants, but the sad fact is that they are often in the wrong place at the wrong time. If we foolishly tried to make peace with them, they would exploit it. And it would be 9/11 all over again. I don't know that Iraq had a large roll in international terrorism when we invaded, but now that we're in, Jihadis from all over are coming in and it has become a front in the war on terror. I want peace too, but somtimes that just isn't possible.
