I think what he said was true. I am a Malaysian and understand the economics and the shallow 'mindedness' of such local company with no sense of creativity and enovation. These cars are pactically copied from other blueprints and stamped with the local logo on it.

this car is made by produa company, this kelisa model is taken from japan company call daihatsu, so in m'sia this is not the worse car yet there is another company call proton, their product is worse than produa.

The U.S. has the Korean manufactured cars made by Hyundai and Kia, but not the Malaysian. Wonder why? Maybe they're not willing yet to pay the extra for the 5 mph bumper and the crash testing required?
