      • It's a hack..

So it isn't a feature of Vista so much as a "hack" or alteration. Plus, it has no practical value. Beryl (on Linux) kicks both Mac and Apple butt when it comes to eye candy, but much of it is useless. The only feature I have desired from other users as a Mac user is the multi-desktop cube effect in Beryl.

        • Plus...

With a convenient third-party utility, I can run any screen saver as my desktop wallpaper. The program can even be closed after you set the wallpaper, and it goes until you cancel it by reopening the program. So it can be done on a Mac.

      • Geeze

I remember animated desktops on Macs from a while back, I'm not sure when they were added but why would you PAY $600 for Vista just to see lines? Plus, Unix is more secure.

doesnt know the difference between a back slash and forward slash. U can use that to impress your gf, wife, family etc. And stop comparing Macs to windows, you have no idea wat ur talking about.

            • Thank you

For this I will definitely convert to Windows. That's exactly what I was missing for years on Mac. Thank you. You're such a great guy!

              • You

Are such a dumbass. Everything you do on these videos mac can do better and easier. You are just an ignorant idiot who has no idea what he's talking about.

And yea, that is such an important feature vs. being able to avoid virus's and run all mac and windows programs combined. Damn. I'm selling my Mac so I can see little colored lines on my desktop that are already built in on my Mac in the screen saver section.

*voice* "Do that on a PC" *end nasal geeky dorky voice impersonation*

but it is so old! everything on windows is old... they just steal it from mac or linux... and to that thing that you shown in this video: win xp can do it too... linux can do it since 2001... and the last thing from me: WINDOWS SUCKS!!!

                • You don't know anything

                  *cough*

Macs were able to do this as of May 2005, the month OS X Tiger came out.

                  Do some research, dumbass:
