STREET RACE FOR MONEY TRIUMPH ROCKET 3 Vs GSXR 10000

are 2 different things. People get fooled into thinking power equates to speed; it doesn't. Power is intimidating, but doesn't mean you are going fast. The Triumph guy obviously doesn't know motorcycles. The power to weight ratio of the Suzuki is incredible; you aren't going to touch it.

Has anyone seen the youtube movie of the Hayabusa vs Rocket 3 race? The Rocket 3, with twice the torque (torque gives you accelleration, BHP gives you top speed) kicks the 'Busa's asss for the first couple of hundred yards.

Put a different rider (swap riders?) on each bike, run it over the 1/4 mile, and you'd probably have a different result. Anyway, I know which bike I'd rather ride on a long trip, and it wouldn't be the Suzy....... Cheers, Terry.
