i would not use that laptop if that was me, he forgot the silicon gell that conducts the heat away from your processor. whitout this it is liable to over heat. number 2, if you are rearly building a laptop should't you also get a new mother board as well? if you are using some old parts isn't that an upgrade? i know that sounds snobby but i was looking how to build my own, not replace the ram which my 10 year old sister can do.

where is the building part of the laptop ? you are simply installing ram and hardisk stuff in ur laptop ... which everyone can do .. no big deal ... totall waste of time
