This video shows the sound and video quality of the camcorder Sony DCR-HC96e.

For Metacafe it is narrowed to 480x320 and compressed (xvid CBR 4096 Kbps, 160 Kbit/sec mp3). It doesn't show the full sound and image quality but gives a good impression.

The video is recorded with various settings (Steadyshot on/off, Zoom in/out, altering focus, whitebalance auto and outdoor, altering exposure,...).

The noise is from the wind and the Sony DV-Premium 60 tape (DVM60).The tapenoise is only recorded in silent environments. Other tapes work better.
