In early spring the pike spawn, and after that they enter a stage of feeding frenzy. Unbelivable that we caught this much in murkey water.

    Seems like most of the fish you've caught hadn't even spawned yet - and you act pretty cruel to some of the small ones.
    Clean up your act - leave the fish alone while they spawn - and either kill quickly or release gently.
