I gas up my car with oil-fuel instead of diesel, it costs exactly half of what gas and diesel cost, and it gets the same mileage. Of course this is illegal that is why i have a double gas tank so the police can never find out because there is actually 1 gallon of diesel in the seperate smaller tank, I gas up the big tank with oil-fuel in the trunk where there is a second opening to the bigger tank.
80% of people here have their own pumps at home so they can gas up their diesels with oil-fuel.
And by the way the only difference between oil-fuel and diesel is the colour and 0.5% of additives.
governments around the world all have these little niggly things that we never worry about but if you think about it those cheeky shits are getting richer and we are getting poorer(lets face it we all need more money)this is the case in the uk dont be fooled i wont. great vid tho nice 1 matey
thats b/c you have socialized government, you take from those that work, and give to those that dont. enjoy your taxes.
Socialized government

No, it is because the US gets 60% of its oil domestically. People like you are always trying to blame social programs for the problems here in the States, but you seem to have no problem with the FAR more expensive corporate welfare that we have.
US has chiper gas because

In Europe most of the price of gasoline are from taxes. We pay in other ways here. We get raped by the medical, insurance, and other costs
conducted a research. In fact, holland pays over 3 times as much as you do in the U.S.
Search google for 'cnn global gas prices' And you'll get to a list.
i have a diesel car and want to increase milage too, but i cud not understand the way u described. can u plz write all this trick here for me, and tell me what is this oil-fuel?
Sorry kipperoni and cheeze!!! (kipkay) even though the pure acetone DOES work, it can hurt the fuel lines, and all other plastic parts =(. Also, it can disturb your cars computer (more modern cars), but if you have an old worthless car you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!!
Please tell us....
by Kipkay, 1206447230Report sentSpamReply
specifically what 'plastic parts' there are in your engine that can be damaged by acetone and not gasoline. Explain why it would hurt the fules lines more than gasoline. Fuel systems have n-buna and neoprene that resist over 200 ingredients in gasoline, including acetone. There is no actual 'rubber' in engines.
Well the acetone burns at a higher temperature which is why you get the better gas mileage, and maybe even better power out of your car. Fuel lines are meant for a lower burning fuel, (gasoline), and connot withstand extensive higher heat, (from the acetone). Once the acetone is burned in the engine, the computer senses the inpurity of heat, and will rev. the engine to expell the foreign fuel. As far as the "n-buna" with the 200 ingredients including Acetone, it is such a small portion it has little distinct effect. So, when you put in the pure acetone concentration, it has a much more distinct and differentiated effect.
but I only used 1oz in 10 gallons of gas. Even if acetone could do the damage you are suggesting, the concentration is so low that it will not have any impact. And, the acetone and gasoline runs through the fuel lines BEFORE they go to the cylinders and reach what you are calling "extensive higher heat".
I tried the acetone thing. My fuel mileage didn't change at all. Then I put a whole pint of acetone in the next tankful, and again, no change in mileage at all.
1 oz. might not do too much as long as your not on any long road trips, because the lines would cool down before the next drive when you drive normally. The majority of the fuel lines would not feel the heat. However once the fuel is burned some heat will radiate onto the end of the fuel line that carries the fuel to the engine. On long road trips the lines would overheat to more than just the gasonline level, and the higher heat at the ends could be damaged. Also i dount the Acetone and Gasoline would mix well, however from a small portion like 1oz. im sure it get mixed in. I looked on other websites than confirmed my ideas, but they were using over 3x as much so...
Its illegal because you aren't paying taxes for it you twat. And they don't check your gas tank when you get audited, they check your fuel filter, you're not as bright as you let on.
the 1oz. of Acetone could not easily be detected in an emissions test.
yes but the red dye staines
by audidave, 1177101561Report sentSpamReply
so if you have clear or white fuel lines they will turn red.and if they wanted to check closer they would just remove the fuel filter and it would have gas oil in it.
Is this Oil-fuel the new eco'diesel?
Diesel made from waste of vegetable burned over fried oil?
Ironic how fat guys who love fried stuff so are predestinated to die of coronarian desieses are who will save the world.
Long live to those fat boys,
... a car with a smaller engine. 17 miles to the gallon ???? What the hell you driving? In Europe & Asia most normal cars will do at least 30 - 50 to the gallon without all this " Information ". And as for high gas prices, think yourself lucky you only pay $2.50, we pay almost £5 per gallon ($7.5)
You drive a go-kart with doors that gets 30-50 mpg and the oil companies know that so they jack up the price at the pump to make up the difference. Wake up and smell the coffee, or tea if you prefer, it does'nt matter what you drive, the big boys will always get their money by hook or by crook!
ever wonder where those electric powered cars went? or perhaps your wondering when those hydrogen cars are going to be on the market, later than sooner if the gov has anything to say about.
In fact as Americans are starting to switch to Gas Electric hybrids and more fuel efficient modular engines the Gov't is starting to push through legislation to increase fuel taxes in order to keep revenues up.

i dont drive a go kart, i dont drive at all just now, but when i finish my studies i'll be getting a 1.8l or 2.0l i should think, which would probably beat most of your "american" 4.0l's at any race, and by "american" 4.0l's im talking about all of those stupidly large engined american cars that go no faster than euro or jap engines half the size, american cars go through fuel like its water, stupidity if you ask me
Umm lots of engines now days were develope by or in cooperation with American Motor companies. Engine development is a very expensive business venture and no one motor company usually takes on that development process single handedly. Also, Ford/GM/Chrysler either own or have a sizable market share of many European manufacturers.
The car he used in this video was a honda accord. made in japan! also american cars have way more emmision regulations than euro cars If I removed the EM/Smog controllers from my truck i could go from 24mpg to around 32 and get a 45% boost in HP but it would be illeagal in the states. As for fuel being more expensive....you guys get better mileage so the oil companies charge you guys more so that the profit/consumption ratio is even. that should clear this debate up.
I went online and compared a 2007 Bmw 325i with a Saab 9-5 Aero (4CYL):
I couldn't justify getting a BMW, as the Saab beats it in just about every department - especially the price and running costs.
I have a 2000 9-5 Aero automatic that gets 23mpg overall (ie. highway and city driving mix) with NO modification, (correct tire pressure and no excess weight not withstanding), running on 87RON. I keep the emergency 'space-saver' wheel and jack, 'cause it's quicker to just change it. I've no patience for the rescue unless I reall need it.
I've been informed that running it on 91RON would improve mpg and performance, but this seems pretty economical for what I have to work with.

Here in California, where I live, distances are great between work and home, or pretty much anywhere. It's not uncommon for someone to work 75 to 100 miles from where they live. In Europe, where cities are smaller and distances are less, you can easily get away with driving a golf cart to and from work (slight exagerration of course) but here in the States we don't have that much choice. Additionally, our population, and hence our volume of cars, is also greater so switching to smaller cars is easier said than done. As for the Acetone test, I'd sure like to the Mythbusters do a test on that.
Gas prices are high all over but I do have something that I am using that helps a lot. Of course regular car maintenance will help but this goes way beyond that. It not only gets me better mileage, saves me money and increases power it also cuts my green house gas emissions by more than 75% and it is guaranteed to work. Take a look. www.megamileage.mpgproduct.com
to the doctor for free....$10,000 for a few days in the hospital compared to "high gas prices" ha!

The majority of the money you pay towards gas is actually tax. As the fuel efficiency increases gov't increase taxes to compensate and keep revenue through energy taxes up. I know in the states that only 10 cents/gallon is actual profit to the gas companies. The majority goes to taxation of various sorts. In fact there are cities in the U.S. that are already responding to increases in fuel economy by increasing gas taxes.
we pay an income tax rate similar to the USA an still get ripped off at the fuel pumps, u r prob talkin about the fact we pay a national insurance (we don't get turned away from hospitals when on deaths door cos we haven't got round to gettin a new insurance policy )
I agree with the lodge
by Rossss, 1176643639Report sentSpamReply
Im no hippy or greenpeace activist but 17 miles to the gallon is pathetic, not only are you throwing away your money, your more than doubling the emissions that the rest of the world would use on the same journey. A lot of Americans don't see it but most big American cars have absolutely no fuel efficiency, the rest of the world views a 3 litre engine as a big fast engine, to Americans thats a small insignificant engine, even though our 3 litres are just as fast as your 6 litres!
we drive v-8 v-6 and 4 cyc and in a dodge vipper it has a v-10 the corvette has a v-8 and has about 450 horse power and thats not the top a the line vet

uncle does the same thing with LPG and gas there is a switcher to swich betwwen the two and when the lpg goes out he uses gas till' refuel
There have been reports of car burning into ash

because its bad for the enviorment
Its illegal because you aren't paying taxes for it you twat. And they don't check your gas tank when you get audited, they check your fuel filter, you're not as bright as you let on.

it costs in $ ?

it dramaticly lowered fuel econemy!!!
Hey, you make a good point about the distance thing. I like your Mythbusters idea too, that would be a good project for them.
I didnt ask you...
I live in Philadelphia and I average about 17-18 mpg. If I take a road trip wher I am on the highways I get 32 mpg.
To get 34 mpg, like this vid, in the city is amazing.
is tax & duty in the UK. Daylight robbery!!
I am almost tempted to try this.
its $10 to £5 at the moment so for all u americans that moan about petrol prices, think we pay 4 times ur price here in uk for petrol
