the 1st clip that touched me, very lovely and kind of upsetting

A little taste of what will be of our lives at the end, remembering the lost love, the friends that passed away long time ago, the love of our parents and the innocence long forgotten represented in the horse toy, but also, the beginning of a new cycle of life, the little boy, still in his phase of innocence. To the author, thank you for make us think about that things that will be missed when the end comes...

I really think that this animation is awesome and it's a shame that it's a two minute animation...
Bide away what is the name of the music that played on the animation? And what type of music is it?

i love it...no doubt .. still as feedback ...the jumps trought life are to sudden... put at least 2 more stage.. and of course one with a girl...the romance.. and maybe one with his first chield..dunno.. is a lot of things to do.. this remind me of a movie i saw Final CUT... anyway the vines from hands are to big and few...sorry i have no ideea about grafic and is easy to be picky.. but.. u might reduce them.. ar add few smaller.. might look better .. never the less you got 5 stars.. tres bien

The Gift he presented to the boy, was telling, of his life. He had been given something at a time. At a time when He simply took it, and ran with it. Now, on the far side of His life, He saw an opportunity to pass it along as a gift. As a Gift, given to him. Yet despite the boy running with it, as He once did, he smiled. Continuing to play, until the growing boy sat upon his bench, and with another smile, led the Young Man in a closing note. With a final smile, for now. Stephen.

I have already watched this clip some times, and I have watched the movie from this title is from, more than 10 times ( Le Fabuleux Destin d Amelie Poulain ), After the having watched for the first time, I went directly to the shop to buy the Original Tracks CD of the movie, and this title is still the one that shivers me. I have listened to it a thousand times. it is also become a ringtone on my mobile.

This short film really touches the heart and makes one think of how quickly our life can end and why it is important to have good deeds to look back on and not just regrets.

Shows us all that life is short and too many of us are wasting it.

i loved this short film, the music was inspiring and the animation was touching and appropriate. i honestly watched this at least a dozen times, ive been looking for the music to load it onto my computer.

That was one of the most beautiful shorts I have ever seen! Absolutely beautiful. It's a real experience to learn about the lives of the elderly. Hearing about how things used to be when they didn't have tis or that. Today, we take for granted our computers and electronic devises, cars, etc. We ask ourselves, "Where would I be without my..." They live without all thisWe've just become so spoiled by how modern technology has changed our lives. despite the fact that everything shortens our waiting time, like microwave ovens, faster internet connections, etc., we never seem to have enough time. They seem to have had much more time and closer family relationships than we do today. Spending time with our families??? Who are they??? Today's technology is, I feel, as much a blessing as a curse, depending on it's uses. Whereas in the medical field, it saves lives and makes operations incoulculately easier in some cases, Internet and cable t.v. have done much to damage our lives.

I first came across this film on Pocket Movies. I watched it over six times and I still choke up each and every time. A beautiful story!

I can't watch this video without crying.

genius..aspect the biggest moments in a man/womans life

I like to go after the big mouths on here, but this clip needs no defense from any small mind who is tragically clossed off to such beauty. I love this work, and I wish that my own cartoons could be animated so well. I contrast the love in this with the gloom and sorrow of another feature, titled "Born to be Alive" - about a deformed little cat ant it's attempts to kill itself. What "humor". Technically well done, it made me cry and want to thrash the bodies of the BASTARDS who do such things to the art of cartooning. So, in my mind, the little cat is held and loved on that Christmas morning. The people who created the original story had love and compassion in their hearts... they did the right thing and put something good into the world. Like THIS movie. I'll go back to doing my cave-man cartoons on the walls by comparison, now.

There is a reason some of us do not understand the presence of life...we are the ones to show others and carry on this into the next life..

My title basically says it all. The animations are well done and the music is really what makes this a very good clip to watch. There are only 2 small things that bug me. One is the wooden horse, it looks way too thing. Second: at first the ring on the old man's finger was on his left hand. By the end the ring is on his right hand.

This short movie has truly touched base in my life, it reminds me of my grandfather in a way, because he was so fluent(sp?) while playing the piano, and also he was in the war...it is a perfect composition, it really touches people, truly moves people, and honestly makes individuals reflect upon their lives. Almost bring tears to my eyes.
