Huge 50m wave frightens residents of small village in South Africa. Distaster management teams study video and check seismic activity in area..
And that white-ish spot is just a cloud.

Sorry, it's not even a wave.
By philonetic 1227580360 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI live in Cape Town and was tuned into the radio all day long. Emergency services were on standby and yes, several buildings were wrecked along the coast. No, I have no idea why SA is keeping pretty quiet about it. There were reports in Mail and Guardian newspaper, then on news24. I'd add the link if I could. Not unlike SA to keep quiet about crisis situations.
By bjcpt 1219823336 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIs this true? Is seems fake because there is no white on top (50 meters wave is too much without brake). Should reach land!
By GoodHeart 1176817219 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveTe video is as I took it. I am an amateur photographer and would not have any idea how to fake a video
By informer18 1176820808 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThere's no way a 50 m tsunami wave could dissipate in that short of distance. And if it had hit the shore, it would have been international news. Didn't happen.
It looked like a patch of fog to me....
Do you have any footage of that hitting land?
By hardworkinamerican 1176731208 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveLuckily for us, the wave went along the shore towards Cape Town and not towards land
