nice joke. everyone settle down, this is not possible to do (in this case). just because something has a 'microprocessor' doesn't mean it can automatically run an OS. an OS needs to be built around hardware and the hardware needs to be built around the OS.

u guys believe this crap, all they did was show a tv hooked up to a laptop, the tv just shows the video from the laptop, the little circle box was probably to conenct the tv to the laptop.

I'm not in any way disputing this
but if you can do this why aren't you guys working somewhere makeing some fat cash sell this stuff on ebay at least the specs on how to do it. Just curious what is the white circle shaped device for? is that your interface. Also you two seem to know your stuff do you have a web site or a email that someone may be able to get a hold of you guys for some tech questions. Or is this really a prank.

- First of all, this "white circle shaped device" is just wire extender (junction box) to deliver electricity to TV :)

  Being a fellow tech geek and fan of linux, I salute you guys! I never would have thought to run linux on the TV hardware. I've seen it run on alot of different things including car radios, cell phones, xbox, and PDAs. Bravo on your efforts!

Oh, and what about the remote control ?

A media center remote control wouldn't have done the trick but a wireless keyboard could have worked through the furniture's door. Nice synchro though...
