There is nothing nastier then a hot coke...yea, so it has lemon, whatever? I'm sure the acids in the hot coke have an effect on the powers of the lemon. A better remedy is a hot totti (sp?) Whiskey, Honey and lemon juice or slices in the microwave till hot and the honey is blended well... Thats a real remedy.

Coke is for sure really delicious, but never ever good for the health.
As well as microwave is really usefull to cook quickly but for sure not the best way to keep vitamina. (I think more than 25% are lost)1932715 - 1

This may have made you feel better for a bit but caffeine and sugar are NOT ideal for curing a cold. Caffeine dehydrates you and you already drain enough liquids when you have a cold. Sugar will just get you going for a little bit and make you think you feel better but then you crash and feel worse than before. But hey to each his own I guess...
