    I have about 270 hours right now and I could care less about the vasi as long as Im not scraping the trees or shooting for the stars all I care about is making a smooth approach

  • Not bagpipe, its the stall warning

    You need to stall the wing to land the plane properly. If it is still generating lift when you touch, the plane can bounce.

    It sort of looked like the approach was too low becasue both VASI lights were red. Even on visual approach you're supposed to remain on the slope.
