Today we are going to install part number 87425 from Hidden Hitch, and we are going to install this on a 2006 Kia Sorento. First step, we will go ahead and take down this rubber exhaust hanger. Just spray it down with some lubricant and we will just take a pry bar and just kind of pry it off of it. Sometimes these threads in here will get clogged up with dirt and rust and whatnot. It is a good idea to spray them down with some WD-40 and then clean them out, and then run your bolts in and out to help clean it out.

We can go ahead and start installing the hitch. It is kind of an odd-shape design so it is a good idea to have an extra set of hands in there to help lift it into position. One end is going to go over the exhaust, and the passengers side is going to go straight into the frame. Once you get all the bolts started, you can go ahead and snug the bolts down. Next we will go ahead and torque down the bolts as listed in the instructions. Go ahead and reinstall our exhaust back onto the rubber hanger.
