In this 1950 recording, Florian Zabach (1918-2006) performs "The Waltzing Cat" by Leroy Anderson and Mitchell Parish. Zabach is accompanied by an unidentified orchestra conducted by Al Rickey. This video was made from the 10 inch LP, "The Hot Canary and Other Violin Solos by Florian Zabach," issued in 1951 on the Decca label, serial number DL 5367.

Zabach played a 1732 Guarnerius del Gesu violin.

So that there is no question in the mind of the listener, I rely principally on images of the LP and LP jacket in order to document the authenticity of historically important recordings such as these.
