There are random peacocks all over the LA Zoo. When this one fanned out his feathers in front of us, I was just filming him and taking pics. At some point, he becomes annoyed with the neighboring Zoo employee and makes as if to attack. The guy throws his hands up threateningly and then WATCH THE PEACOCK.

It's very quick, but I thought this was really cool!!!

    A nice display by the peacock but not a lot happens. The colours are very bright and are worth a look

    That's a pretty young peacock: his tail hasn't really filled in yet. Once he matures, you won't be able to see through the fan at all except at the very edge.

    Of course, that means that he can't see through the fan either.

    Which means you can sneak up behind him when he's doing that.

    I was at the zoo the day before. This video wasn't even an "attack." On Monday, a kid in a red shirt walked behind this peacock and tugged at the tail feather. The peacock turned around and saw a toddler and went towards him instead. It never touched him, but scared the kid and he started crying. I think the title "attack" is a bit strong.
