Alicia de Larrocha (1923--2009) performs Schubert's Marche Militaire, Op. 51, No. 1, as arranged for solo piano by Carl Tausig. I created this video from the LP shown above, issued on the Musical Heritage Society label, serial number MHS 1761. This LP originally was issued on the Hispavox label, and the performances date to the late 1950s or early 1960s.

So that there is no question in the mind of the listener, I rely principally on images of the LP and LP jacket in order to document the authenticity of historically important recordings such as these. In this video I have added some images of the composer, as well as fragments from the composition's score.
