- they like fresh gazelle meat
  I saw a less lucky baby gazelle on a doc. The baboon ate it alive before it's mother's sight. The baby would watch and scream while the baboon mercylessly tore pieces of meat from it's leg. Even the other baboons looked disgusted. That mother gazelle was brave, I'm glad she shase it away, she should have crushed it. (Don't be too hard, I'm learning english)
