    Neither of the George Bush's are idiots. They're simply very bad public speakers. They, undeniably, do not have the know-how to pull off public speaking, yet for some reason, both made it to the presidency (you think it might go with the job description). Many of the things they've done didn't help the nation, but a lot of it did help their colleagues, friends, and themselves. They're not always dumb (I'm not saying Bush is smart- I don't think he is, but he's not "mentally retarded"---he's just fairly clueless and mislead by his advisors), so don't continually bash them for being idiots. I just hate George Bush for the decisions he makes---not his intelligence. However, even if he's not an "idiot" he's certainly not the academic elite that a country needs for a leader. (so, comparitively, i'll call him retarded)

      You didn't pay attention to what I said at all. I didn't make an excuse. I'm saying he doesn't care about the country; that doesn't mean he's an idiot. The decisions that he makes are making him richer-- they are making Dick Cheney wealthier-- they are giving his friends more money and more power. It is NOT helping the nation-- but that's why he's a bad president. He gives benefits to oil companies and shuns the environment because oil companies have more money; he gives jobs to CEOs and executives of companies because they contributed money to his campaign. He's not a genius, but the real problem is, he adressed his own agenda, and not that of the American public (or the rest of the world, for that matter).

      ...and I think everyone knows stupidity is a measure of intelligence. I never said he was smart, and I never said I liked him---and I never said what he did was okay. He's a horrible public speaker, and has average intelligence, poor leadership, bad decision making skills, and, most importantly, he's incredibly ignorant (which is different than stupid) which is why his approval rating keeps dropping.

    I am not a bush fan, but all of you guys bashing on them probably have never geiven a speach in front of anyone before let alone the whole nation. I know I have made mistakes in giving speaches and they were just to small college classes and whatnot, but seriously I am pretty sure it must be quite nerve wracking to be giving a speach in front of so many people and quite easy to make a little mistake knowing that the littlest mistake you make is going to be put on websites all over the world and make you look like a retard. That is alot of pressure and that is what happened, easier to bash sitting in front of your computer never leaving your house. At least he has the courage to speak in front of the world, when most bashers have to hide behind their computers to stir up trouble.
