- they don't make it from a solid piece
  of stainless steel. That would be impossible and be wasting a lot of material. They roll a flat piece of it into a tube shape. Don't know how they bond the two ends together but hell no they can't solder it.

  Japanmandan is right this is how its done they do roll it into shape and heat is applied to the tube to bond the two ends together during the rolling process.

- lame idea but good try
  welding this tiny pieces of steel will make pipe very low quality. They are making bigger sutureless pipes whith very(and i mean very) tiny walls ane extruding it into needle whith bigger walls and smaller diameter. It is unbelievable, but smallest needls are less than 1mm in diameter. These are used for eye surgery.
