According to Dr. Kevin D. Light, the medical director of the Texas Institute of Functional Medicines (TIFM) in Dallas, Texas, chronic problems and diseases are due to a lifetime of poor, uninformed choices. Age management medicine (integrative medicine) takes a unique approach towards addressing certain problems associated with aging. At TIFM, Dr. Light and his staff look at the primary cause of aging and address the consequences of long-term problems regarding diet, stress, hormonal decline, and environmental toxins.
