Another recent lock bumping story caught from Google news.
There is usually no sign of forced entry so it's hard to claim it on your insurance. The best protection from lock bumping is getting anti-bump locks. You can get them online from companies such as Antibump Locks -- google it.

wrap a sledgehammer in a towel if you really want a surefire way to get into someones house. a couple whacks with that against the knob or the deadbolt and youre in. who cares if you wreck the door, it aint your door. and its about as loud, if not quieter than smacking the key with a hammer. Besides, it 3 am, who cares whats going on outside, as long as it doesent involve you, right? F**king americans.

lets make videos that help people brake into homes and business'. that way it won't take so long and they will not know it was a breakin until there long gone. way to go metacafe.
By dcfreedom 1178455887 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeever THINK that some of the VIDEOS were made by the idiots that couldnt sell their 150$ padlocks or LOCKSMITHS trying to get business maybe??? what better way than to put fear into them.. so DONT shoot the messenger (metacafe)... if the web WASNT around to EXPOSE it then you would not know would you ???.. think about that one
By flyspit 1178673753 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveId rather know how they do it so i know how to defend or protect myself with other locks and or devices
on you Metacafe for posting this crap. You should know better than to help people learning to commit crimes.
By BADASSMAN 1178571803 Reply Spam [-2] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyou would have seen that they do not reveal the process to which a bumpkey is made. HOWEVER, the very video they had in this segment was infact available here on Metacafe a few months ago, atleast.
By northwood21 1178576271 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyou do realize if someone is determined to enter your Home they will find a way in.
