A magician's craft is to cause us to question whether the laws of physics have, at least temporarily, been suspended. It works ONLY if the trick is done well enough that we don't notice some obvious error. Perhaps it was done well enough here, since it seems I'm the only one who noticed the problem with the dude.
If you look closely at the way the guy is holding the doll, you'll notice the doll's face is pointing DOWN! While the doll's hand that the guy stabbed was on HIS right and he SAYS it was the doll's RIGHT hand (because he believes that to be true), he is mistaken; it was actually the doll's LEFT hand. The dude gets fooled - even if in a way not anticipated. But the dude is not the intended audience. We, and people like us are the intended audience.
Repeat playback and stop action video allows close inspection which must be anticipated by the makers of the video. In this case, it was sloppy and it is revealed that the guy (and by association, all three of them) are stooges who have been coached.

What makes this a poor offering is that good magicians necessarily have a critical eye for detail yet here is an obvious mistake that is allowed to circulate anyway.

It's sloppy and second rate showmanship for somebody with a reputation to uphold.

If you see the beggining of the video when chris said hello to the first girl, she answerd in a way as if she knew him in person already, as if they were going out with each other a long time ago. Everybody knows chris angel, at least most of the people, he is famous so the real reaction of her would be shoking and amazed. Guess she is not a very good actor.

Second, for you guys that say that "who cares if it's fake? What matters is the idea of the video and entertainment purposes." Well, i have something for you, entertainment means convince the watcher that theyr work is perfect and good to waste time watching it, that is way everybody that makes a movie wants to make it better than the others in graphic, image quality, sound, acting, and other stuff so that people will believe and realy enjoy it even knowing that is fake cos it looks real.
You can perfectly see what is wrong in that video and say that its a fake after you read the first thing i said. In SHORT, the video S**ks .

This is an actual magic trick. Everyone is going to have a different reaction to the same or a similar stimulus.

I doubt their hands got very warm, but since it was an unexpected reaction it felt much warmer than it actually was. Basic human nature.

The only thing I can't really figure out is how he did that woman's leg, mainly because, as all magicians do these days, part of the social interaction of the trick was cut from the video.

So he does the same thing to the doll yet people have absolutely different levels of pain..this girl feels something warm..another guy totally flips out as if he touched a hot stove.... ACTORS!

I think that someone is using an infrared laser beam (like CO2) nearby for the heating up part, quite simple. The guy pointing the laser has to have some infrared goggles and the camera has to have an optical filter that will cut infrared just to make sure that nothing will show up on tape.

Well, it's either one or the other. If he's for real, then he has acquired the ability (or was born with it) to restructure molecules, defy gravity, and separate the top half of people from the lower half without doing any lasting physical damage to the body....and if he's not for real, then a lot of people know about it and are not talking. Personally, I think some of these things are staged, and I haven't seen all of them so I can't speak to the levitation part, but when someone levitates on the sand without any equipment, well, it makes ya think. However, he wouldn't be the first person to have levitated. There are testimonials in history to persons who have levitated (the Scotsman in 1800-something, for instance) , so he's not the only one.

Moreover, have you ever studied voodoo? You don't have to believe in it to have it work (either for or against you!), and to this day people still go to the grave of Marie LeVeau, the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans. Do not ridicule what you do not know...and stay out of Haiti!
