On April 15, 2007, West Coast Hwa Rang Do* held an inner-school tournament in preparation for the interschool tournament coming up in July. It was a chance for students of all levels, both men and women - white belts (TSD) to black sashes (HRD) and all ages (junior to adult) - to hone their skills.

Here is a clip of some of the highlights from the tournament.

Note: beginners started on their knees and only worked for positioning without submissions and takedowns.

looks good but
cant see how they let kids do subs but not the
adult beginners do them ?

  All beginners both Juniors and Adults learn positioning only. They do not learn submissions and takedowns until they reach Intermediate Level. Hope that answers your question.
