These are serperate third party software
This is a wrong way to compare two operating systems.
Beryl is a theme you install on ubuntu, you compare an installed software on a stand-alone operative system with Windows vista that includes with features already with the package, please do not compare it that way as its irrelevant.

  ... a separate software (GUI) installed on top of the operating system.
