    the one they dropped on hiroshima which was 9 feet was so much more devastating

      In actuality the bomb dropped on Hiroshima known as the "little boy" was 10 feet long and was 13-16 kilotons. This video however is a compilation of shots of TWO different bombs, the arial shot of the bomb with parachute being, shot "able" and then the actual explosion shots you seen being from shot "baker". "Able" detonated at an altitude of 520 feet off the bikini atol on July 25 1946 and "Baker" being detonated 90 feet below the surface. Both bombs were 21 kilotons significantly larger then the bombs dropped on hiroshima and nagisaki. These bombs would of been much more devastating if dropped in place of the "little boy" and "fat man" bombs used during WWII.

      Looking at the footage I double checked, the first bomb and inital explosion looks like the Russian Tsar bomb. A little bigger than the 10 - 13 kiliton of Hiroshima, 57 megatons.... The initial blast wipes out a 30 mile zone with the fireball extending 110 mile radius. The boffins recorded the shock wave 3 times round the earth. The bomb was initally supposed to be 100 megatons, crazy Ivans.
