What is going to happen if you connect LED lights to your speakers? Magical will appears. Let me show you how to.
lol sorry but wats the name of the song/beat
By pepotero13 1178663912 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSandstorm is the song.
By yamaheart 1178668095 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewho sings that song called sand storm
is the artist
By yamaheart 1178851693 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removesong is Omnibus
By Omnibus 1182398493 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIt seemes the LED's were only reacting to the deep sounds. Is there a possibility to change it up to the middle or even to only the high sounds?
By andless 1178828824 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeproduces lots of energy therefore LED or conventional light reacts better. Fortunately LED uses very little power, so if u only turn the volume just a little, you will have a lot of power go thru your LED. IF you turn the volume higher, you will have more and more power. You can run multiple LED’s to 1 speaker.
By yamaheart 1178847566 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveJust found this entry and know it is quite old - but - can anyone help me? Could I link up a string of LEDs lights in this way and would they need any of their own power? Thanks Kim
By KimHart 1249640264 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI am trying to get these led lights to be synced with the music...do you know how many I can hook up to the speakers? do you got any good ideas for it? thanks
By Superman4422 1224231342 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removehook up as many leds as u like. Due to the fact is that LED consumes less energy. To ensure ur LED wont burn due to high wattage, use resistor. U can hook it up in parallel or series. Good luck
By yamaheart 1224461023 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI am having trouble gitting this to work. i have bought the LED's and i have some speakers that use the same connection that are shown in the video is there anyway u can help me out?
By nlh9415 1216174448 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewhat trouble are u having? If it LED didnt light up, switch the wire around. You got to get the correct polarity (positive and negative).
By yamaheart 1216373413 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThanks for the very informative video
By Foresttre 1213936107 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewhere can you get lights like those
By gary0008 1197431942 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeebay or any electronic stores.
By yamaheart 1197694364 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removehey n1 work
but for long time i test it on my right player /song player, :-) sry for my english,
and this isnt going.
I dont know why maybe there is no energie
i dont know but its going only on computer boxen
LED's need correct positive or negative connection.
By yamaheart 1197694650 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewith the led light wires, do they matter with which red and black wire goes with each speaker wire?.....And those beats are wicked!
By Tr!N!iNamErICa 1193190323 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyou have to get the correct polarity for it to work. It is only 2 wires so u can just switch it out.
By yamaheart 1197694432 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Remove5 stars for new invention...i love the ending..."Feel da club in your house..." don't forget to shake that speaker's ass. LOL :)
By Chingly88 1192763530 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe original song is Lautsprecher's Omnibus. justr wanna give credit where it is due. :)
By Omnibus 1182398350 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeto find out what type of resistor is need for your LED, please go here http://www.superbrightleds.com/led_info.htm
Unless posting a link up here is illegal. Please let me know. Thanks a whole lot.
Metacafe blocks links, as you can see
By Omfgpie 1201663708 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIF you have a subwoofer, oh man, it will produces massive power. SO therefore use a resistor. Wire your LED with resistor to your subwoofer, then each to your LEFT/ Right channel, or even CENTER channel if you have 1. You will experience differ LED flashing at differ channel. IF your system is too powerful so use resistors. Go to this website to calculate the specific resistor for your LED.
By yamaheart 1178852516 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveTry to connect 2 or more LEDs to each speaker. And remember to set up each LED with differ resistor. For example, if u put 3 LEDs to the speaker. The 1st LED may not requires a resistor, for the 2nd LED try to use a resistor with 160-180 Ohms, the 3rd LED try to use a resistor with 280-300 ohms. It will dissipated and block away unwanted power that may blow your LEDs depends on how high your volume is at. You will see each of the 3 LEDs, each LED will glows brighter than the others. GO to this website that I found it has this easy LED calculator. And good luch and have fun with your music.
By yamaheart 1178853176 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI just want to understand the reason for putting resistors across the LED. Is it because of current drops across the leds that causes more power to emerge so the resistors limit the power going to the LED's?
By latinomusician 1178885014 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewill limit the voltage from the power sources, which will reduces the voltage, and it will make ur LED last longer. Too much voltage will burn the LED's
By yamaheart 1197694549 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyour AMP produces various power output depend on how high the volume is play at. For example the volume is range from 1 to 10, and 1 is being at 1 volt and 3 is at 3 volt and so on. Your resistor only can handle up to 6 volts/the volume is at 6. IF u crank ur system up to volume 8, that is too much power your Resistor can handle and will blow ur LED out. The resistor is overwhelming with too much power from your amp. Remember, u can find many type of resistors that can handle different voltage.
By yamaheart 1178914391 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThat is pretty cool how do i attach neon lights too it?? 5 stars!!!
By JamaicanMahn 1178818957 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removean amplifier to the neonlights and do it as in the movie.
By andless 1178828901 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removework on the same principle, just add the wires to both ends from the neon lights. Be sure to buy the neon that consumes low power. For example buy the one that requires 3 to 6 Volts, but in the other hand if you have a powerful amp then it shouldn’t be a problem. Use the voltmeter to measure the power output from each speaker channel then you will know how much power comes out from each channel at different volume ranges. Good luck.
By yamaheart 1178848388 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI will like to make a very important point before any of you attempt to connect the leds. When you grab the positive line of the speaker, connect it to the the long side of the led and connect the negative part of the speaker to the short side of the led. Usually LED's dont come with the red and black wire attacked to it so you have to figure out which is positive or negative. If you connect it backwards it wont light up.
for pointing that out, i left that part out in the video. Thanks
By yamaheart 1178853265 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveDoes it reduce the sound quality or volume
By CameraJohn 1178659844 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveLED light is known to use way less power compare to conventional light. SO therefore you still have plenty of power left to drive your speakers. Remember, you have lots of power in that Amp, in this case, I only crank a lil power out of my system. Have fun.
By yamaheart 1178662116 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei have a pre-mounted neon on my car sub but not on my soundsytem in my room. I have 3 way speakers with an amp running 400 watt at 4ohm, will it blow the leds if i do this? If so, what kind of resistor should i use and how should i connect it?
Hehe, theres a good question for ya.
Great video, 5 stars
leds cant blow just melt and that is at a extreamly high amp/ vlts
By omega one 1182459030 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI reply to this message and somehow got deleted. I even put a link down and also dissapeared. Unless....
By yamaheart 1178867771 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou can do that with more than 1 LED light on each speaker and pick the LED color that you like. Thank you for watching.
