They are very stringent, it's almost impossible to get a work visa (have to grease a lot of palms). They don't like people from other countries working in Mexico stealing jobs from mexicans, why should US be more lax than their country?

the heck wants illegal alliens to come and go as they please? What other country in the world does not control it's own boarders?

most Mexicans who come to the U.S. are hardworking people just trying to make some money for their family. However, if they are here ILLEGALLY, it doesn't matter how pure their motives are. If they want to live in the U.S. and become citizens, contribute to our society, and pay their fair share of taxes like the rest of us, hey by all means. Just be sure to go through the due process, or we can and will deport you.

Strong family values, very hard workers, striving to provide for themselves and their families. While they work in every industry in this country, the US farm industry could not survice without them - last year, literally millions of tons of fresh fruit and vegetables were left rotting in the fields when there was a crackdown on Mexican workers coming in to the US. We still haven't figured out how to handle this immigration situation
