so when i saw this i didnt think it would work, but i tried it ne way....went out to my 1998 honda civic with yellowed headlights and wanted to give it a shot....mixed the shampoo and water in a bottle, got some whitening toothpaste and an old shirt......sprayed the headlights down with the mixture, brushed the lenses for five minutes and sprayed it down to clean it and my headlights now look like brand new......i was suprised with the outcome...thank you

My son works for an auto dealership and this is one of the tricks the detailers do to cars that are traded in!

So, does it matter what kind of toothpaste? I would think whitening would probably be bad because it has grit in it... Or maybe that would be good?

And what kind of shampoo? Are you talking about the stuff I use in my hair or like soap or something? What's the mix ratio?
