    I started doing this with an aftermarket unit on my 1990 Dodge Spirit and it worked great. Worked almost as well with dealer/factory installed units too.

    I've known about this trick for a while now. It really does work! I tried it from a hilltop about 200-300 yards-no kidding-from my car, and it worked! I found that it also works for garage door openers also. Give it a try. I 'm sure you will be surprised.
