you possibly put more than more led of different colors inside of it and add a thing that makes them blink? Now that would be even cooler.
You can get all kinds of led bulbs/colors at electrical supply stores... plus all the wires, batteries... everything you need, except the balloons, of course. Don't know any contractors who need balloons during the course of the day... Krusty the Klown might...
Attach a jerker from a flurecent bolb in 1 of de wires and it will blink.
Here's a tip, though. Boil your water before you freeze it. It will be crystal clear.

can you use a laser pointer to do this and then polish the ice to enhance the beam...wow man i wonder if it would work if i had a vid cam id try and post it here for you to see... but can you do it insted

When you use hot water, wont it make the ice melt quicker?
use dry ice!!!! hahaha
Just do that, and let ur skin and fingers slowly fall apart as ur playing with it
will it also work with 9v batteries - it's easier to attach

You're going to need to stick a resistor in there to stop your LED from pulling too much amperage... Three LEDs (R, G, B) plus a crossfader would give you a pretty nice colour-shifting effect too.
that will be cool to make but i must say can u put it in the frezzer so it will last and still take it out?

It would be a very nice decoration for Christmas to put outside your house (of course, if you have cold winter. And by saying cold I mean at least -1 C). Just it would be more practical to make ice shaped like a cone that one could easily put LEDs inside.

keep it in the freezer and take it out at partys to wow people, (and dont use it as a reading lamp evolution91, a small tip 4 u)
