http://beurl.me/teslascrt - When Tesla was working with Westinghouse on developing and creating alternating current, he had signed a contract with Westinghouse in which he would receive a percentage of every kilowatt hour that was sold to Westinghouse’s customers. However, after Westinghouse had completed the facilities and generators and infrastructure which delivered power, Westinghouse was going bankrupt. Tesla, in an extreme act of kindness, tore up the contract, thus allowing Westinghouse to no longer be indebted to Tesla. This act cost Tesla millions of dollars, and, had the contract not been destroyed, he would have been set up financially for life.
