    Lord of the Dance and Riverdance are two seperate dance companies. Michael left River Dance and started Lord of the Dance.
    The dance is extremely difficult and takes years to learn. There's an Irish School of Dance here in ST. Louis.

    I must say I love the women of riverdance, esp the redhead I used to see in the television advertisments, . If anyone knows who I am referring to please let me know her name. Also I agree with he difficulty of this tap dancing, it takes more stamina than a boxer going 12 rounds to dance like this, and while I have heard about Michael Flatleys orientation, who cares, he sure can dance and if I had to dance with women that beautiful I would have to take salt peter or turn gay to concentrate without getting harder than chinese algebra.This dancing takes trendous skill and talent.. who says white people can't dance,lolI am also about 50% Irish and would love to stay in Ireland a few months, I have heard it is beautiful.

    What Michael "s partner perference is ,is irrelevant.He is fantastic at dancing!The work that goes into a performance like his is absolutely pure dedication. You have to be a great athlete. He has great strength and skill. I hope he comes to New Orleans, La. I would love to see him in person. I have never seen a greater dancer.All I can say is BRAVO! BRAVO! Daisey Clover

    i went to see lord of the dance last month as it was on near were i live. it didnt have michael flatley in it but the lead man was still fantastic! trust me if u ever get the chancce go and see it, it is absolutley brilliant live, and the noise of their feet is just amazing! im off to see michael flatley in celtic tiger next month, id reccomend u get tickets!

    Everytime I see the River Dancers, I am impressive once again with their multi-talented dancers that I have ever seen. I really enjoy watching them. The dedication and years & years of practice this must have taken is probably endless & I really appreciate good quality dancers, & these are. Keep it up.

    liked theatre, but when this group came to town, I had to see it. I had seen them on TV before and was only "impressed." Until you see a live performance, you have no idea of the sheer heart-pounding impact these folks can have on an audience. It was amazing!

      I have both Riverdance and Lord of the Dance and have watched them numerous times. You can see and appreciate the beauty in the female form. Dorothy Hamill, the champion world skater had GREAT legs! You aren't an idiot for noticing what God created. And if Lord of the Dance made you cry...you are perhaps the most sensitive person on the planet and could stand to get laid.
