  Arabic Dancing - commonly known by Americans as Belly Dancing, is actually an art, and very difficult to do because it requires an amazing amount of co-ordination. In ancient days, when a woman was about to give birth (obviously then, they birthed at home), the dancers were called in to dance around the Mom to facilitate an easy birth. As a dancer, I also danced while I was pregnant and trust me, my baby loved it, was not hurt and was not uncomfortable. My midwife and doctor endorsed dancing while pregnant 100%. It's good to know, isn't it!
