He has been great for years; even before the last world cup, 2002, and he was only about 20 or 21 years old. Iv'e been sayin this forever, but nobody pays much attention to goalkeepers. I was so pissed that year when Oliver Khan was ranked the best (he was good though). The only reason for this is that Spain was knocked (cheated) out early last World Cup, and Germany did so well.

Cassilas is good but he's a bit extra, some of the saves he makes are reactions saves made from crosses that should have been intercepted by him. I like cassilas but i think petr cech is better he set a epl record of not coceiding a goal in 1,025mins i think tht pretty damn impressive :)

Its a hard posistion to play, mentaly and physically and these men have mastered that psotistion, i personally look up to them.

Buffon the results of him, you can see in the last world cup:
2 goals:
-1: own goal;
-2: free kick.
That's all.
Some of those saves were actually harder to pull off than they looked.I'm a goalkeeper and I think that Buffon is the best keeper at the moment but Schmichel is the best keeper of all time.

p.s. casillas is brilliant! still nowhere near as good as buffon!

That said, there were some great stops there, though the 3rd goalie is just hot-dogging it and should be benched for making a stop like that when there is no reason for it.
