Plane Crashes

some of them are just landing in windy situations and alittle tire burning that's all

but boy... those 747 pilots can drift

First off the 747 you saw was a Korean Air 747not a KLM ;-), and their pilots are very well disliked from their lack of understanding English from ATC controllers. That landing was at Kai Tak. Second Most of these approaches are crosswind landings nothing out of the ordinary, and nothing unsafe, espically the A321 going around, that is a smart pilot unlike the Alitalia MD-11 pilot, that I admit was dangerous. Third the sea king pilots not only hard a hard fall, they never felt it. This video not only pissed me off by bashing the aviation industry, but it was just very poor whoever made this video knows nothing about aviation, and should have never made this video, never dip your feet into water without looking. Every 30 seconds in America alone someone is killed by drunk driving, I'd pick an airplane anyday over driving.

I am a flight attendant, and I loved it, the music was a nice touch, I have to watch plane crashes every 6 month in recurrent training and it is an everyday bad day for us flight attendants, Flying is still safer than a car, So Why Do You Still FLY???????? I get paid whether you are on my aircraft or not. To who ever made this THANKS I LIKED IT....As a flight attendant I can say that!!!!!

The only thing i disliked about this video was the "Do you still want to fly?" splash. Compared to cars, the ratio of planes and choppers crashing is impeccably low.
So wonder why he even felt the need to put that slide in this video.

So is the purpose of this video to make people not want to fly? Does the poster of this video not fly out of fear of crashing?

If I put together a video of fatal car crashes would the poster not ride in a car too?

It should be also noted that a lot of these clips were in highly adverse conditions, air shows, or military operations.

Having a lot of crashes (or incidents as some where not actually 'crashes') together in a video like this makes aviation seem like a dangerous business. How ever more people die from road collisions then from aviation accidents.
As for the landing at 0:35 it is the most amazing ever, because if you look closely One wheel of the landing gear takes the full weight of the aircraft.

....isn't too appropriate....then again if you crash in a plane or helicopter...I guess you are havin' a bad day!

hes making light of airplane crashes. "have a bad day", wtf dude. hundreds of people died in at least two of those plane crashes. is it ok because they are in a tin can with wings and you can't see them? what do you think happens when a plane with 150+ passengers explodes on impact.

U got it all messed up.. These are some great clips uve got here.. worthy of 5*'s but the text u put in the middle ruined it all for me, this is 1/20000 chance.. and on the road its like 1/3 chance of bad luck.. c'mon...

Why did they get a helicopter to pull a boat? Aren't there boats for pulling other boats?

Also, everyone knows the odds of dying in a plane crash are low in comparison to car crashes. Its just the idea of sitting in the back while the plane falls out of the sky just scares people a little bit more. We know it takes years of insane training to become an airline pilot while us teenagers go take a 2 min driving test and then speed around texting our friends about nonsense. Its just something horrifying about something going wrong and those air masks coming down. Especially if it happens over the ocean. Its like...ok..game over...time to wait for death.

Odds are, you're more likely to get killed by a donkey than in a plane crash. Most of the crashes here were probably careless human mistakes. Of corse, the engine may fail, but only if you don't maintain the plane. The point is, humans cause plane crashes, weather by not maintaining the plane, or by doing something stupid in flight.

The add that poped up at the bottom of the vid said "We sell Super Cheap Airline tickets".

when doing the fight attendant course in Lan airlines. And they asked us, do you still want to fly?

You tool!! Do you still want to get into your car everyday? Do you still want to leave your house in the morning? It might kill you!!! Why do people think that just because an airplane has an accident or people die in those crashes that they are more dead than if they died in a car crash or some other accident. Still the safest way to travel and probably always will be!

I liked it but not too sure about the music. I love to fly anyway so it wont affect me! The 747 looked like it was practically hovering on the runway! Im just wondering is the plane that explodes on the 22 August and the one after , are they DC 10's?

Why do the people who complain about this video do so forgetting that they actually watched this video knowing by the title what the content was.The choice of music was probably thought of to say yes it was a bad day for people involved and not to play down these events.My advice is anyone who is squeemish....DONT look at these vids or if you do.......You have no reason to complain!!!!!

Obviously you have no clue about aviation at all! These events happened during the last 15 years. How many fatal car accidents would you find in that period of time? How do you dare to add a comment "do you still want to fly". This is simply dumb! You don't have to be skilled to cut desaster videos like that, but you show no respect to all the pilots doing a great job with a lot of responsibility.I am a pilot myself and I am disgusted by such stupidity!
