World's Tallest, Floorless Dive Coaster

Griffon, the world's tallest, floorless dive coaster offered American Coaster Enthusiasts and members of the media a sneak peek today at the European-themed adventure park.

Thrill seekers everywhere have been counting down to May 25 Griffon's public opening. Busch Gardens Europe's latest steel marvel drops its riders 205 feet, 90 degrees straight down, at speeds as fast as 75 mph. Griffon features several one-of-a-kind elements including floorless coaster trains with stadium-style seating. Each coaster train is comprised of three rows of ten seats, and the outer seats extend away from the track. Griffon's divers also endure two Immelmann loops a coaster move known for its twisted loop.

also scared the shit out of me bc im goin alton tower in a month or so and it has a ride like that going straight down however dont no how high, scares the shit out of me evertime i go but i always go on it :)

- ITs really not the same ride
  this ride is 15 feet taller, has seating of three rows of ten, is floorless and 15 mph faster. but both rides are great. I have ridden them both.

This ride looks ok.........but ive seen ...
Yea its a little different but give me 0 to 130mph in 3.4 seconds and height of 430 feet straight up and then straight down plus a monster camel back to slow you down. This ride is half the size and speed. Go to Six Flags Great Adventure and ride Kingda Ka if you want higher, faster and better.

There is one in Tampa Bay, Florida..
similar to this one (I would say it's the same), It's called "Sheikra", It's not that scary after you ride it a couple of times. I rode it ten times this last spring break with my cousins, no lie. I got proof. LOL
