Happy memories!!
This reminds me of Ireland(yes,I'm Irish)in the '70's when it wasn't uncommon to see string etc holding various parts together.Or to be able to see the road through a hole in the floor.Those days are gone now,our cars have to be top notch nowadays to pass a safety test.
