in the UK a guy ran down a child and drove away he had no licence and no issurance he got 12 weeks in jail ... thats the truth .... even sadder than than flowers and toys where left at the scene of the accident and some guy took a teddybear someone had left he got 3 years in jail where is the balance of justice

Someone did that at the end of my street when I was younger. Except the kid was walking on the SIDEWALK with family. Car swerved over the curb. Killed the child. Now there sits a sad white cross at the end of the road with the child's name on it. Using a cell while driving should be illegal.

Good point. And you are right and I should have been a little more accurate on my case. Yes, there is likely to be many horrible ways to ruin peoples lifes. There have always been, when talking for example about wars.
However, in this case I meant that these are two worst ways when it comes to peoples stupidity and selfishness. I'd hate to get seriously injured only because someone is too stupid to stay out from steering wheel, when drunk. If I was a woman, I'd hate to be unable to trust men ever again because of some idiot who cannot control his dick.
