You don't hear the Canadian anthem being sung like that. I think that the Americans should have gone with "America the Beautiful" as their anthem, instead of an anthem all about war, and the flag, especially considering that you can buy underwear with the american flag on it(if you don't believe me look it up on www.google.ca), try to be patriotic when you see your grandma wearing that around the house.
