Check this out. You can see right through the monitor. This is way to cool.
I guess most of you kow how most stunts are made in movies.. a GREEN SCREEN...
This shot is taken twice...
One with the Laptop displaying a green background....
Second with no Laptop at all... (ofcource with the camera in the same exact location.)
What they do is they edit the 2 movies & mix them... by removing the green area in the first clip and replacing it with the same are in the second clip. (Editing programs are all over the net.. you just need a webcam & a Colored sheet "Green is not the only color")
and here you are.. a PC with a transperant background...
.
U r all wrong! It is a form of black magic.....or voodoo.....or something like that
By Rastaman 1136538925 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI can't believe how many people in here are stupid... all of those who believe it's a camera behind the laptop is an idiot... Because if you have a camera thats filming the wall of whatever that thing behind the laptop is... than the picture is also suppost to move left side with the laptop.. but the background doesn't even move.. so it's definitely chromakey or green screen..i guess some people have to get some education in here..

By xslatex 1177547434 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHello
thanks For telling That this technology can even work For PC by Using A Software and A webcam.
well Please tell me Any software for This.
You can even stick your hands throught it!
And it is really usefull when you view porn!
Obsolutely unuseful, even plainly idiot!
By sogerlab 1143296644 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe word for unuseful is useless. Please don't think i'm trying to be a sarcastic jerk by saying that. I'm only trying to help.
By get over it 1143845403 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI've done the same thing at work - take a picture of what's behind your flatscreen or laptop, stand and look at the monitor from the same angle and it looks like it's transparent. kinda neat actually :)
By Comfortably Numb 1142363420 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei cnt believe no1 understands all it is, is a camera on the back of the screen sending a live feed straight 2 the desk top it cudnt of been taking a picture cos he moved it around nd the screen went wiv it

By SpectreDeed 1138474914 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethere seems to be a lot of this green screen image replacement movies winding up in here as of late... nicely done nontheless.
By slimy2000 1136683265 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeam i annoying anyone with the repetitive posting? if so i apologise, I'm just very opinionated :P plus i couldn't make up my mind whether it was green screen or a camera. i'm almost certain its green screen (chromakey) now btw.
By SeesAllKnowsAll 1136649568 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWhy does everybody have to fight over everything. Everybody has there own opinion. Who cares what the other guy thinks? I think it would really cool if the screen was transparent but I don't know the truth.
By ram8113 1136649555 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWell then why did you post a comment? Who cares?
By BowWow 1137107201 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSoreLoser is right: It's just a very basic green screening technique.
There are two shots, that are taken without moving the camera or changing the frame at all. First you film the scene with nothing in it but the background. Then you film it again with the guy moving the laptop around. The laptop will have a desktop picture / wallpaper that is a solid bright green colour. You then tell the computer (via Final Cut Pro, or whatnot) during editing to replace everything that is the bright green colour in the second shot with footage from the first shot when the laptop wasn't there.
this is what i was trying to say
By SeesAllKnowsAll 1136648840 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeand anyone who thinks it is is a moron! watch again... notice that the image is brighter and more blue than the background? also, whatch the edges of the screen as it is moved. the images don't quite match up. there is also a loss of image quality on the screen, there is pixelation and aliasing. (this also rules out the green screen theory as that would also use the same image for both, although i thought it was that at first)
By SeesAllKnowsAll 1136646881 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removealthough i suppose the brightness of the onscreen image could be put down to the backlight if indeed it was green-screen
By SeesAllKnowsAll 1136647015 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeand that suggestion that the desktop has been set to a uniform colour is very sensible, as I'm unaware of a way to use a real time image as the desktop in Mac or PC. I've changed my mind i think it is chromakey
By SeesAllKnowsAll 1136647170 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeits just the backing of the lcd has been taken off, ive done this many times for diy projector projects.
By alex2cool67 1136646461 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveAnyone who works in TV will know how this works. It's a process called 'chromakey' and the giveaway is that the whole thing is a static image.
All that happens is that you line up this shot and take a clean shot of it without the computer in frame. The computer has a single colour on the screen background (could be blue or green) and the device that merges the pictures replaces anything of that exact colour frequency with the same section of the clean shot. That's why he can move it around. And that's why he can pull up a window on the monitor, because anything covering up the key colour shows up on top.
If you want to move the main image though you then have to track those movements, reproducing them exactly on the overlay image, and the whole thing becomes hugely more complicated.
I suspect this guy probably had the video and the static image to overlay and merged them in a post production process to create this movie.
Got it?
Notice that the perspective of the shot does not change (the camera doesn't move).
First adjust your lap tippy toppy's desktop to have a GREEN background.
Then shoot some footy of your location without the laptizzy in the shot.
Next, without moving the camera put your laptizmond into the shot.
Now dump both sets of footy to your comp ositing program of choice.
Overlay both in a timeline with your Laptonic footy on top
Use the keying feature of your compositor to "knock the green the f*ck out"
export for web, upload, and watch the hilarity ensue on a browser on your electronic lapdog!
lol =D
By SeesAllKnowsAll 1136649137 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI watched this several times and it is a not a camera. For one thing, he brings up a computer window in the middle of the image. Transparent and heads-up displays have been around for quite a while, so why would some on go to the trouble of faking something easily available.
My question would be, "Why bother with either?"
Its called heads-up display (HUD) technology. Its been around for a long time.
By Patriot911 1136587384 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyou guys are all wrong. There is a flat camera built into the back of the laptop screen that is angled slightly off to create the perfect effect. The computer is set on a program that uses a full screen of the video that it plays in real-time like your typical camcorder.
By isthiswhereisignon? 1136528934 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveAdd a little to my reply: there is no way you can adjust the picture angle that showed on the screen. Note the guy moving the laptop not only left and right, but also changes its angle relative to camera that filmed it
By vanowm 1136606973 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveActualy you are wrong. These transparent displays were around atleast few month now (atleast I've heard about them a long time ago).
By vanowm 1136606761 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIf the video had shown the persons HAND or any other object moving in the room and into the back of the screen THAN it would have been more credible as a seethough screen.
happy new year everyone!
the computer screen background is GREEN like they use in special effects shooting and its easy to merge the computer video with a video of the same scene WITH NO COMPUTER so the two togeather (remember the GREEN in the first shot is replaced by the second shot) show AS IF you can see through the computer.
By SoreLooser 1136480388 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeare you trying to say that they prerecorded the video and played it on the green screen of a computer? watch it again, does that look prerecorded. nope, cuz it's not.
By isthiswhereisignon? 1136596685 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeits a piece of special glass and it projects the stuff from underneath and on top and from side to side latest technology =).thx for sending though its preety cool but you might get attraceted to looking at the thing behind it.

i like this meta cafe so much ,

any more site like this ?
Why would anyone buy a screen that you can see through... believe it or not the idea of a pc is to SEE the screen not see through it!
