    i am pretty certain this car is a mercedes clk-gtr, not a mclaren .... i believe mercedes recommended this car be removed from competition subsequent to this event .... have been looking for a copy of this video online as some friends do not believe it actually happened ... thanks niti...

      Look in Wikipedia, 24 hours at LeMans, under accidents. It mentions this accident at the end. The CLK flipped three times, and was on a down hill strait, if I remember correctly. To my knowledge, the McLarens have never endoed...

      As mentioned before. This is a 1997 Porsche GT1, it took off at Road Atlanta due to aerodynamic flaws in the design.

      Merc CLK-GTR did take off 3 times at Le Mans 1999 but that's not any of them.

    that didn't happen! I was at the racetrack sitting in that spot and he didn't flip over. This is just a video of the F22A Raptor military aircraft superimposed over the top of the race car to demonstrate Thrust Vectoring. Silly people don't know anything about racing or global domination or advanced military aircraft.
