Yoga Seated Forward Bend - part of the women's fitness video series by GeoBeats.
This is Maryam and this is Paschimothanasana, Seated Forward Bend.
You're going to start extending the leg straight out in front, allowing the toes to point up towards the sky. Again sitting right on top of those sit bones, keep the back nice and flat.
As you inhale, extend the arms all the way up towards the sky, allowing the biceps to come right alongside the ears. As you exhale, with the nice flat back start to forward fold, reaching those arms for the toes.
Grabbing a hold of whatever you can, whether its your toes, your ankles, or your pants. Holding here for three breaths. On your last exhale, start to slowly roll yourself up, and come back to a seated position.
