Electric Guitar Virtuoso

Is the guy who wrote this version of Canon (As far as I know), its called "Canon Rock" or "Canon in D", and this guy is just (in a VERY awsome way) playing it... there are alot of other ppl who play this melody (rock version), but this guy's the best of 'em all, if u ask me, search video.google .com, in the search bar write JerryC, and pick a video to view.

Mad props to you. You've got skills. To everyone seeing this, don't make the mistake of thinking that this guy will become famous outside the internet. I used to run a recording studio and I can tell you that people with this kind of talent routinely go unnoticed. The old saying "It's not what you know, it's who you know" definitely applies in the entertainment business. I really enjoyed this video though. Great stuff.

sometimes you hear people play wild crazie and absofuckinglutly fast but theres no flow or tune but this preformace was jawdropping and incredibly inspiring grats to the person who learnt to play this cause it must of taking him a freaking long time to learn how to do that its a true peice of art just like the original canon

Good effort, but you should check out the original version by Jerry C. Funtwo has generally good technique, but his arpeggios and bends are sloppy.

The real composer/player of this is Jerry C. Whilst this guy plays it well, he is merely copying Jerry C. As far as I know the guy playing here hasn't composed anything original. So in my mind he has yet to prove himself.

As a guitarst of 10 years myself, I have to say that Jerry Cs version is better. His arpeggios are much much smoother, and his bends are in better pitch. This guy bends terrible towards the end. Still a good effort though.

i'd like be able to play stuff like that. too. i teached me guitar-playing on myself for about two years now. and i did really well. but ehrn i see this, i think that I'm never going to be able to play some heavy sh** like that. but i will keep on dreaming ;)

I will never listen to Pachebel Canon in the same way again. This is by far Mozarts best piece, especially the version written for three violins and a cello. This kid is awesome!

i've listen to him playing this so many times and it just sounds as great as the first time i heard it. This kid is amazing!! i could only dream of playing anything even close to what this kid is doing!! seriously he could easily enter a tournament with some of the high ranking players and come out on top!! The way he plays the strings and hammers on the high notes is amazing!! freagin hell to good to believe!! enjoy the moments while they last!!

the jumps in picture are caused by the video codec used to encode the video. the jumps occur when the eye reaches the KEY FRAME, evry KEY FRAME is a complete picture instead of a predictive picture, that's why the picture looks like it's jumping, the eye gets used to the predictive imaging and when it reaches the COMPLETE picture(key frame) it notices the diffrence, tell the dude to use another codec.

He has an amp connect to a pedal wich plays the courds for him during the climatic part. It makes it sound like he is doing much more than he really is. Other than that. WOW 0_0 i wish i was that good.

I don't comment very often, but edited or not this Kid has a tallent, and If there were any possibility, I would like to hook him up with a couple other people I know who are also talented, and see what comes out of the mix... Watch the finger action... like I said edited or not, the fingers don't lie.

this kid is absolutely amazing, definately no yngwie, vai, or satch but if he keeps it up he'll one day be up there...this version of the song cannon is incredibly well done the sweeps are awesome the taps...the little change with the green light though the whole visual deal could have been done better. I'm pretty sure that hes not just acting like hes playing but actually is him playing. I want to know who the heck he is...and where he learned that version.

I honestly thought that was really incredible. My Mom used to play the classical version of cannon to me when I was a young lad trying to get to sleep. This just blew my mind when I heard this fella who made a decent "punk?" version of this song. Gave me chills up my back, and I showed it to like 10 people. Dude, keep it up!. Awsome.

This young man is really good and you must give him credit for all his practise ... but... you also have to watch visually .... and ... you will notice the picture jumping every so often. Hint ... watch the mouse... which I am afraid may mean some errors in playing and edited out.
But I still say all in all he deserves great credit for all his hard work... an excellent player, sure wish I could even play a little. Guess I am just jealous : )

Our lead and rhythm guitarrists are amazing-- not always featured in every song, but check around, and I think you'll find some pretty amazing stuff.
