Has any one got the MP3 or WMA of this track of music uses here, "Pirates of the Caribbean" ??? what track is it, ,, if you have it, I would apreciate it forwarded to me, noonda @iprimus.com.au (join noonda to @)
I love the way the music goes dramaticly with the plane... I watched this 4 times... If somthing like Eminem or Sugababes was put to it it would be rubbish but the orchesteral music enhances the idea of the plane. :-)
How is Airbus going to kick Boeing in the balls with an overbudget, overweight (4tons), under ordered, 6 month behind delivery schedule airliner that can't operate in most of the worlds international airports? Boeing can't sell their 777 and 787 fast enough. They may need to ask Airbus to help them build them since they are not getting anymore orders for their A340. Airbus might have some room in one of their government funded factories.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Track 3 - The Black Pearl...or at least the main theme
As Airbus ramps up production and resolves small problems with delivery scheduling, I think this aircraft will give Boeing a run for it's money. I envision the vast flight routes of the Western Pacific a prime "stomping ground." Australia, Singapore, Japan, to the the West Coast U.S. Stephen.
Clean Lines????

C'mon, this pig has lines that hurt. Yeah, it's big, so was the Titantic. The only good thing, as a passenger you don't see how ugly it really is. It simply does not matter how great the music is for this viewing, the plane is still ugly.
have you seen what the military cargo plane that boeing made in the 70's and we are still using them, actually- the new replacement is already here but the old ones are still in use - now that is quality made. C-5, look it up. its so big that it carries airplanes, helicopters, etc..
True, the A380 is nothing more then the Lockheed C-5 Galaxy with 550 passenger seats. I don't know what the big deal is. The U.S.A. and Russia for example have the capabilities to manufacture such a plane also. The concept wasn't even new. Everybody knew about the design years and years ago. The question is rather if it's economically feasible and will passengers, airports, and environmental groups accept such a plane, whether Airbus, Boeing or Antonov makes it. It really is not a big deal. However Airbus is finding out that it can be done but at a price. They are already behind schedule, the aircraft is overweight, which is freaking out the airlines that have committed to it, they are overbudget already, they haven't achieved break even order numbers yet, but they have time. Airports have to spend millions to accomodate it. Landing at over 1 million pounds is going to stress runways to hell. It's a bad idea. Who wants to be on a plane with 550- 800 passengers? Not me. I would much rather fly direct and get in line behind a few hundred passengers.
This is an amazing feet of engineering. Planes in general have always worried me you have to keep a forward momentum to stay in the air. I just cant wait untill they develop them flying saucer things because I here only one of them has crashed
THEY ALWAYS SHOW THESE PLANES EMPTY........

If you saw it full of people, it would look like a subway car at rush hour. Not a pretty sight.

Brought to you by the same politically funded, ego engineered, euro slackers that rationalized, built, and kept flying through subisidies until it became painfully obvious as a losing proposition, that other wonder of aviation wonders, the Concorde.
Go-get-'em Airbus . . . .. .
BTW - did anybody think to check tank-sealing characteristics in the event of tire-shredding ? MIght be a good idea to test this one out !
amazing! i c a plane taking off. tanx 4 this clip. i could hav never cn a plane taking off other than 4m my bedroom window but u brought hope tanku so much.
well lets see AIRBUS is a european passenger plane...tickets will cost less for teh individual because there can fit so many passengers on this plane..there for deviding teh cost for the maintenace between the passengers it would cost less than a regular plane. People on Metacafe nees to knopw when to talk and when to stay quite , if u dont know all the info dont say anyhting..its better to be thought as ignorant then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
People who want to know more about the Airbus A380 can go to http://www. airliners. net/info/ stats.main ?id=29. I'm sure they all want to hear your illiterate babble on your opinion of them. Learn how to talk, then type, and keep your unsolicited ignorant patron bashing to yourself. There should be a doctor near you who could have you committed so you don't hurt yourself. Now shut your own pie hole and climb back into your hole.

Nothing beautiful, practical clever will satisfy you if you keep looking through that nationalistic glass, please be wise.
Engineers around the world make safe but not perfect planes, and americans are no exeption, I bet you will insist.
I also found the french unwise when they thought the tupolew 144 was a concorde counterfeit .
with that looking glass ,Then beware of flying Brazilian , spanish , russian planes even if American owned ones.
The music is actually from The Pirates Of The Caribbean soundtrack, Avalable in HMV for $18.99
what else can i say? 2 FULL decks! nice lounge
