The guy on the elephant swiftly beat the tiger to death with his tiny peice of bamboo. Thank god he had it with him.

This happened in Kaziranga, North-East India.

They were actually trying to dart the tiger. This guy lost 3 fingers and it's said that he was saved by the quick thinking of the elephant.
