Video is wrong
The video is (for most bar pricing schemes) very wrong. Even if this video is legit, the bar doesn't "triple their profit" by doing this. Say they charge $5 for a beer that costs them $1. If they serve in "fair" glasses, they get $15 for $3. A profit of $12. If they do this "trick" they get $15 for $1. A profit of $14 - a far cry from $36 (triple profit). There are some prices that would make the video correct, but I believe they are not realistic.
